The three large moorlands in the canton enchant visitors with their unique beauty and biodiversity. These damp and marshy areas are home to a variety of rare plant and animal species that have adapted to the special conditions. Mosses, heather and peat moss adorn the rolling hills and form a colorful backdrop. At dawn, the mist bathes the moors in a mystical light and lends them a mysterious aura.
