Shortly after Eberstwil stands the Milchsuppenstein.
In 1529, the Catholic and Reformed cantons of the Old Swiss Confederacy were at odds with one another. Hostilities were averted through the mediation of Hans Aebi, the Landammann of Glarus. According to legend, the conflicting parties are said to have made peace over a bowl of milk soup.
