The hike from Raten to Menzingen winds through picturesque landscapes. The view of the gracefully glistening Alps, the lakes—both large and small—and the cities of Zurich and Zug lend the route a special atmosphere. The Maira Hilf Gubel Monastery and the Menzingen Monastery stand as testaments to Christian architectural heritage.
You can also explore the Climate Trail on Gottschalkenberg. The two-kilometer loop takes you past 10 interesting stops and takes about 40 minutes to complete.
