A natural forest in Switzerland? This route leads into the atmospheric Sihlwald forest. Old, impressive tree giants that are up to 250 years old, small, young trees and those at the prime age of around 120 years characterize the picture. It shows an impressive, Europe-wide unique, native forest wilderness.
On the way back, the Albis chain impresses with first-class views of Zug and the surrounding hills and mountains. The route runs over smooth and fast gravel. Despite large differences in altitude, this is a relatively easy route without demanding sections.
