The Sihlmatt Restaurant and its surroundings embody a slower pace of life and a sense of immediacy. The owners wish to share this feeling with their guests. Trout and a glass of wine have been a tradition there for 50 years, and this tradition is set to continue. The menu primarily features dishes that highlight the region’s seasonal bounty. The former farmhouse offers plenty of space to lose track of time. Children won’t have to look far to find something to do—whether in the garden, with the donkeys and chickens, or simply out in the meadow.
On warm days, guests can relax on the sun terrace or cool off with a dip in the Sihl River. When it gets colder, guests gather in the cozy Stübli.
