10 a.m. to 5 p.m.:
Felting with Pam from Filzlis: Gain an insight into this ancient craft and try your hand at felting. Hourly workshops from 11 a.m. (ages 6 and up | 20-30 mins)
Saddlery and upholstery with Corinne Gassmann: How are armchairs and car seats upholstered? The saddler will give you an insight into her work and let you try your hand at lacing springs yourself.
Craft workshop: Make a leather bag (ages 6 and up)
Scavenger hunt: ‘(Almost) forgotten crafts’: Discover ancient crafts. For all age groups
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Medieval woodturning with Remo Graf: How does a lathe work? The woodturner will be working on site and answering your questions.
Medieval show cooking with the Museum Burg Zug: Chat with the maid and peek into the cooking pot on the fire. Tasting welcome!
11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Letterpress and intaglio printing with Judith Matter, Zug Heritage Society, specialist teacher of textile design. Experiment with traditional printing techniques. Workshop | ages 14 and up | 60 min
