The Detective Trail is a puzzle adventure for families, schools, clubs, and groups. The treasure hunt begins with the first puzzle at the Zug train station. From there, participants must follow the clues and directions provided, just like on a scavenger hunt. There are a total of 17 puzzles to solve. At the end of the route, the detectives will find a treasure chest. Using the code they’ve figured out, they can open it, and participants will receive a small instant prize.
Along the 4.5-kilometer route, you’ll repeatedly come across beautiful spots and hidden places to linger. If you’d like to take breaks along the way, you should allow at least four to five hours for the route. If, on the other hand, your goal is to reach the treasure chest as quickly as possible, the route will take about three hours.
