Andreas Krüger, 46 years old, was murdered with a silenced pistol on Bahnhofplatz in Zug, near the bus stop for bus lines 1 and 2. A surveillance camera captured the entire incident. The footage shows that the perpetrator was masked and, unfortunately, could not be identified.
The victim, Andreas Krüger, was a member of the Zug Police Department’s Cyber Investigation Unit. He had recently helped dismantle an illegal online marketplace for drugs and weapons. The marketplace was called “Mercato Zug.” Payments on the marketplace could only be made with bitcoins, a virtual currency.
