EVZ is also an innovative sports company with around 120 permanent employees and 500 part-time employees in the areas of sport, management, junior players and catering. With 14 junior teams and its in-house training concept "The Hockey Academy", EVZ focuses on sustainable and long-term youth development and has had its own farm team in the Swiss League since 2016. The EVZ 1st team has played in the top Swiss league without interruption since 1987 and won the Swiss championship title for the first time in 1998, the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup in 2019 and the runner-up title for the fourth time.
The BOSSARD Arena in Zug, EVZ's new stadium, was opened in 2010.
