The Detective Trail is a puzzle experience for families, schools, clubs and groups. The treasure hunt begins with the first riddle at Zug station. After that, you have to follow the clues and directions as if on a scavenger hunt. There are a total of 17 puzzles to solve. At the end of the route, the detectives find a treasure chest. With the help of the calculated code, this can be opened and the participants receive a small instant prize.
On the 4.5-kilometre route, you will always find beautiful corners and hidden places to linger. If you want to take a break in between, you should allow at least four to five hours for the route. If, on the other hand, you want to get to the treasure chest as quickly as possible, you will need around three hours for the route.
The puzzle fun can be completed with the Detective Trail online version on your smartphone or with the help of a printed treasure map.
