You can find the Africa Museum on the edges of the Old Town, where it is run by the St Peter-Claver-Sodality order of nuns.
This order of nuns helps out a lot in Africa, which is why they want to draw attention to its problems. Among the exhibits you can see are masks and figures of idols, carvings of ivory and ebony as well as and jewellery, musical instruments and stuffed animals from countries such as the Congo, Nigeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon to mention just a few. It is like being suddenly transported to another world.
