Zug cherries have been part of the region for centuries and remain an important part of Zug’s culinary culture to this day. In addition to fresh cherries, many cherry farmers also offer specialties such as Zuger Kirsch, cherry cakes, cherry sausages, and numerous other regional delicacies.
Fresh cherries and regional specialties are also available directly at farm stands throughout the region. During the season, the following farms, among others, offer fresh cherries and other products from their own production:
