The soft mountain ridge not only separates the Ägerisee region from the Sihl Valley, but also the cantons of Schwyz and Zug. The forest thins out on the south-western continuation of the Höhronen, the Gottschalkenberg. From the "Bellevue" viewing platform, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the greater Zurich region and the Glarus Alpine panorama. Together with the Raten Pass, Höhronen and Gottschalkenberg form a scenic treat.
