The soft ridge separates not only the Ägerisee region from the Sihl valley, but also the cantons of Schwyz and Zug. On the southwestern continuation of the Höhronen, the Gottschalkenberg, the forest thins out. From the viewing platform "Bellevue" a magnificent view of the greater Zurich region and the Glarus alpine panorama opens up to you. Together with the Raten Pass, Höhronen and Gottschalkenberg form a scenic treat.
