Be part of the Swiss National Day celebrations in Hünenberg!
On August 1, Hünenberg becomes a lively festival venue. The festival is held at the Hünenberg Lake beach in odd-numbered years and in the village near the “Heinrich von Hünenberg” Center/village square in even-numbered years. Various clubs provide refreshments. The Hünenberg Music Society provides the musical accompaniment and leads the singing of the national anthem. A wonderful evening full of tradition, community, and Zug’s zest for life.
The 2026 Swiss National Day celebration and the presentation of the “Hünenberger Einhorn” will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, starting at 5:30 p.m. on the village square or at the “Heinrich von Hünenberg” Center.
