From January 24 to May 25, 2026, the Kunsthaus Zug invites you to immerse yourself in the fascinating visual world of one of Switzerland’s most important Surrealists.
The exhibition “Max von Moos – The Deconstruction” opens up new perspectives on a body of work that deliberately eludes any unambiguous interpretation.
Based on key paintings, thousands of drawings, and striking self-portraits, a multifaceted overall picture emerges, oscillating between darkness and surprising cheerfulness. Rare new donations offer an in-depth look at the artist’s oeuvre and make the exhibition a unique opportunity to rediscover Max von Moos.
