Starting May 4, 2025, it will be high time to lace up your hiking boots and explore the forests and hills of Zug on foot. As is well known, hiking boosts circulation, strengthens the immune system, and supports the musculoskeletal system. It also has an equally significant positive effect on mental health. That’s why Blick and OCHSNER SPORT are sending you into the mountains for the sixth time with the “26 Summits” hiking campaign.

Zug Tourism is also participating for the sixth time and has selected the Sihl Hike as a “Summit.”

Physical activity, such as hiking, influences mental well-being as mentioned earlier: it lifts your mood and has an antidepressant effect. Stress tolerance, self-esteem, concentration, and sleep quality are all positively influenced by regular physical activity. Furthermore, exercise and sports provide excellent opportunities for social interaction. Here you’ll find even more beautiful hiking routes in the canton of Zug.
