Kunsthaus Zug

Kunsthaus Zug | Dorfstrasse 27, 6301 Zug

  • By public transport | Direct train connections from Lucerne and Zurich to Zug every half hour. From Bahnhofsplatz, take bus 602, 612 or 613 in the direction of Kolinplatz to the Burgbach bus stop. At the bus stop, turn right into Dorfstrasse past the Burgbachkeller. Then turn left and follow the wooden walkway by Tadashi Kawamata to the entrance of the Kunsthaus Zug.
  • By car | Zug is easily accessible from Lucerne and Zurich via the highway in 30 minutes. Visitors arriving by car can use the Casino parking garage, which is just a 5-minute walk from the Kunsthaus Zug.
  • On foot from Zug train station | An 18-minute walk along the Zug lakeshore leads to the Kunsthaus Zug. Walk south from the station, past the Drinking Fountain by Ilya and Emilia Kabakov, along Alpenstrasse to the lakeside promenade. Turn left and follow the path to Rössliwiese, discover the see view by Roman Signer, past the government building to Landsgemeindeplatz, where Tadashi Kawamata's work "Work in Progress" can be seen. Turn right into Seestrasse, walk past the aviary to the Zytturm on Kolinplatz. Walk along Ägeristrasse past the Hotel Ochsen, then turn into Dorfstrasse. An S-curve leads directly in front of the Kunsthaus Zug.

Kunsthaus Zug, Schaudepot | Oberallmendstrasse 1, 6300 Zug

  • By public transport from Zug or Baar railroad station | bus route 604 to the Göbeli stop. Another 300 meters on foot (path marked). Bus route 603 to the Kistenfabrik stop. Another 500 meters on foot. Take the S1 or S2 train to the Lindenpark stop. Another 900 meters on foot.

  • By car | There is no direct parking in front of the KunstCluster Zug at Oberallmend 1 in Zug. However, the "Mobility Hub Zug Nord (MHZN)" parking garage, which is operated by TechCluster Zug, is just a 10-minute walk from the Kunsthaus Zug Schaudepot.

  • On foot from Zug train station | A 16-minute walk along Industriestrasse leads past Metalli to the GIBZ. Turn right into Göblistrasse and after another 50 meters into Oberallmendstrasse. After another 50 meters you will find the entrance to KunstCluster Zug on the left-hand side.
