In the exhibition Voci Luminose, light and colour meet poetic form. On 15 May, Sabeth Holland and Sonja Schmid will personally open the exhibition.
Both artists, Sabeth Holland and Sonja Schmid, will be present at the opening of the exhibition Voci Luminose on 15 May 2025. Their works enter into a quietly radiant dialogue, where colour, line, material and light become carriers of a language beyond words – subtle and intense, rhythmic and precise.
These two artists from Eastern Switzerland – Holland from St. Gallen, Schmid from Thurgau – meet in their work in a way that is both contrasting and harmonious.
Holland’s colour-rich, multilayered compositions pulse with joy, imagination and inner movement. Her expressive paintings open up spaces between dream and emotion.
Schmid works with transparency, light and material reduction. Her delicate installations made of fluorescent plexiglass create spaces where lines and light refractions interact in poetic tension.
In Voci Luminose, powerful colour meets silent plasticity – two artistic voices, united by a shared language of light, line and resonance.
